Li Cunxin, author of Mao’s Last Dancer, has agreed to do one student session in addition to being the WorkPac Literary Diner Guest Speaker. His beautifully written autobiography is a tale of talent, faith and determination. It is a moving account of moral complexities, personal costs and the rich rewards of following one’s dreams. This session is a rare opportunity for our students to hear Li talk about his journey, told with honesty, dignity and pride.
Whitsunday Voices is grateful to our Literary Dinner Guest Speaker Partners for bringing Li to Whitsunday Voices: BOQ Mackay City, Porters Mitre 10 and Daydream Island
