Dean O’Brien, also known as Mr Yipadee or Deano Yipadee, is a best-selling children’s author, musician, and producer.
He has worked with writers from Bob the Builder, Thomas the Tank Engine and also headlined the famous Kidz Field at the Glastonbury
Music Festival. He has released four albums under the name Mr Yipadee: The Animal Choir, Yes I Can Club, Positively Nursery Rhymes, and World’s Greatest Christmas Party.
Dean’s first children’s book Jingle Bells, Rudolph Smells sold out of two print runs in Australia and went to number one for Christmas in
NZ. His second book Nee Naw The Little Fire Engine debuted in the top 3 in the best seller charts and remained there for over 3 months.
Very popular with the junior school students, his music is intended to promote positive thinking and self-confidence among children and his entertaining
and energetic performances will have the students on the edge of their seats!
