Whitsunday Voices Youth Literature Festival continues to attract students and adults alike to experience and enjoy some of Australia’s best known authors, illustrators, poets, playwrights and performers.
With workshops, book talks and performances jam-packed into three days, Whitsunday Voices 2010 cannot be missed.

Short Story Competition
All students from Years 3 to 12 are invited to submit entries for the Whitsunday Voices Short Story Competition and be in the running for cash prizes donated by Friends of Mackay Libraries.

LitVids 2.010: Book Trailer Competition
A book trailer is a short film or animation which brings a book to life – on screen! Students can create their own book trailers, submit their entries to LitVids 2.010 and compete for some fantastic prizes. The winning entries of LitVids 2.010 will be screened at Whitsunday Voices Youth Literature Festival.
