Jade Goodwin is a First Nations illustrator from Newcastle, celebrated for her vibrant, diverse illustrations in children’s publishing. She brings stories to life through her artwork in the beloved series Ash Barty and the hugely successful Yarn Quest. Jade’s work champions diversity and representation. Featured in campaigns like Love Your Bookshop Day and highlighted by NITV / SBS, she is a passionate advocate for authentic storytelling. In her presentations, students will get a behind-the-scenes look at her process as a book illustrator – how she sparks inspiration and keeps her creativity buzzing! This is a fantastic opportunity for kids to explore the magic of art and discover the power of visual storytelling.
