STORIES WITH ZING!
Dr Mark Carthew is an award-winning Australian author, poet and educator, celebrated for his playful language and wordplay. Having sold over a million books worldwide, Mark a winner of Speech Pathology Australia’s Book of the Year Award, will bring his international best sellers The Great Zoo Hullabaloo and The Thing That Goes Ping! to the Festival. Mark is a May Gibbs Fellow, and he holds a PhD in Writing. Mark invites younger audiences to join in a fun-filled session of Words That Ping and Stories with Zing, while upper primary students will laugh along with Wizards with Lizards, Witches in Britches and his fun, batty books that will have them in stitches.
