Aśka is a dynamic graphic novelist, visual storyteller and former quantum physicist who brings big ideas to life through comics. Her books include the internationally celebrated YA graphic novel Stars in Their Eyes, along with multiple CBCA Notables and award-shortlisted titles. Her latest, The Friendship Paradox, blends physics, friendship and adventure.

In her fast-paced, interactive sessions, Aśka explores the science of how words and pictures work together, unpacks the hidden power of visual literacy in the age of screens and leads interactive comic-making activities, no skills required.
