Getting Here

The Festival is located on campus at Whitsunday Anglican School, Celeber Drive, Mackay.

Buses: All bus services must use the designated Bus Set Down point. Buses must not attempt to enter the school campus.

Cars: Private cars may use the internal round about off Celeber Drive.

Visit the Daly Bay Information Station, located inside the school grounds, for Festival queries.

Free Break Time Activities

Story Corner

Enjoy the relaxed and informal Story Corner with talented local authors Kat Ilich and Nikki Townley in a welcoming, drop in session with gentle interaction, perfect for low key break time entertainment.

Located in the STEAM Centre.

STEAM Club

Drop in and explore the fun with the STEAM Club at the Maker Space during break times. With hands-on activities, including LEGO and drones, there’s plenty to do!

JCU Pickleball

Come grab a paddle, have a hit with our JCU crew, and score some great prizes while you’re at it!

Located in the Undercroft.

Whitehaven Picnic Place

Looking for a relaxed spot to pause and reconnect? Head to the Whitehaven Picnic Place – an inviting outdoor space with shaded tables for unwinding, catching up with friends, and soaking in the Festival atmosphere.

First Aid Advantage Tent

First Aid Advantage will be providing first aid support throughout the Festival. Students can also visit their tent to try hands-on CPR and first aid activities.

Located in the Undercroft.

MyLibrary

Come visit the MyLibrary van during the break! A FREE interactive space for all ages, including books, games and storytelling.

Located near Whitehaven Picnic Place.
