Luka Lesson is an acclaimed poet, rapper and former Australian Poetry Slam Champion whose work fuses ancient Greek storytelling with contemporary spoken word and hip-hop. Luka has performed worldwide, at festivals like Splendour in the Grass and QLD Symphony Orchestra.
As an educator, he has spent two decades helping young people find their voice through workshops and performances. Luka guides students through a range of poetry and writing processes, from structured prompt‑based exercises to expansive stream‑of‑consciousness writing. Students explore various themes while learning to let go of perfection and trust their creative instincts. These sessions support stimulus use, drafting techniques and live performance.
