Luka Lesson is an acclaimed poet, rapper and former Australian Poetry Slam Champion whose work fuses ancient Greek storytelling with contemporary spoken word and hip-hop. Luka has performed worldwide, from the legendary Nuyorican Poets’ Café in New York to festivals like Splendour in the Grass and with the Queensland Symphony Orchestra. His poetry collections The Future Ancients, Antidote andAgapi & Other Kinds of Love are studied in Australian schools.
As an educator, he has spent two decades helping young people find their voice through workshops and performances. His festival sessions include award-winning poetry performances and the exploration of the power of words.
