Maryam Master is an award-winning author, playwright and screenwriter who creates bold, funny and heartfelt stories for young people. Her novels include Exit Through the Gift Shop, No Words and the 2025 CBCA Book of the Year winner Laughter is the Best Ending. She has also written acclaimed stage adaptations of bestselling books by David Walliams and Oliver Jeffers, which premiered at the Sydney Opera House and toured nationally.
